As New York City has its Manhattan skyline, Winona has its row of
bluffs, some with rock formations resembling the ruins of castles
or fortresses. Most famous of these is Sugar Loaf.

Winona businesses include two notable banks designed in version of the
Prairie style, a style made most famous by Frank Lloyd Wright.
